SYNOPSIS: Work Sucks is a ten-minute play about the tragic demise of America’s middle management. Lost in a labyrinth of cubicles, everyman Brad Braidley, employee #285 at the nameless American everycompany, receives a message from a chorus of his colleagues that the company is down-sizing. Fearing the ‘tide of pink slips’ foretold by the oracle of CNN, Brad Braidley begins his journey to confront the all powerful Zeush and revoke his faith in the mighty culture of capital.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work Sucks is set in a modern-day office divided up with cubicles.
PRODUCTION HISTORY: Works Sucks was developed at Sarah Lawrence College in 2003 and will premiere in End Times Productions’ Vignettes for the Apocalypse 2 play festival in February 2008 (WINNER - BEST COMEDY!).
